When the time comes, facing death, the individual realises that she or he is nothing but a small existence in time, incapable of changing the course of events. Naturally, her or his ego crumbles, the veil of Maya disappears and one sees the naked truth – she or he has achieved nothing that will remain with her or him. The individual cannot go back in time to correct for the mistakes. Now the individual regrets of having lost the chance that this life in human gave her or him. Guru Sahib asks me to evolve spiritually and get guidance from ‘Satguru’. Guru Sahib in this way asks me to strive for ‘Gurparsadi’. I know I have to qualify for it first; for that I have to become pure and all my being should become an expression of truth. 6. The key is: all my being should be true, reflecting ‘The Sat’. For me, the live of our Gurus are vivid examples, form which, I can understand the real meaning of this sentence.
