The granth is one of the major sources of historical events during the period of the Sikh Gurus” The Tribune has noted.</p><p></p><p>Born in 1924 in Gujrawalan district, now in Pakistan, Dr Kirpal Singh, who was a founder of Oral History Department in Punjabi University, Patiala, has made a seminal contribution to the modern and medieval history of India.</p></blockquote><p></p>
