Salok.
Salok (Core theme of eight sabads/hymns in the Astpadi)

Sargun nirgun nirankār sunn samāḏẖī āp. Āpan kī▫ā nānkā āpe hī fir jāp. ||1||
By self the formless one is with worldly entanglements, without such and by self in voided contemplation. Nanak, so self created and such so seeks understanding.

Asatpaḏī.
Eight stanzas hymn

Jah acẖẖal acẖẖeḏ abẖeḏ samā▫i▫ā. Ūhā kisėh bi▫āpaṯ mā▫i▫ā.
When in-deceivable, impenetrable and unknowable so engrossed. Who would be attracted by entanglements there.

Āpas ka▫o āpėh āḏes. Ŧihu guṇ kā nāhī parves.
To self so salutes by self. Three artifacts (maya) do not impact.

Jah ekėh ek ek bẖagvanṯā. Ŧah ka▫un acẖinṯ kis lāgai cẖinṯā.
When of one was one, the one creator. Then who was worry free and who was worried.

Jah āpan āp āp paṯī▫ārā. Ŧah ka▫un kathai ka▫un sunnaihārā.
When by self of self was the convincer. There who spoke and who was listener.

Baho be▫anṯ ūcẖ ṯe ūcẖā. Nānak āpas ka▫o āpėh pahūcẖā. ||6||
Very vast and higher than the highest. Nanak, such can reach self by self.
Quote:
ESSENCE: In the salok, Guru ji state describe the duality of the creator with worldly and without worldly interactions. One that has created all but still seeks the understanding.

Guru Arjan Dev ji in Astpadi 21, 6th sabad continue in reference to the originations and the creator being so at such a moment. At the time the creator being unaffected by all how could entanglements have an affect; guide to self could not succumb to worldly attachments; when only one who to worry about; when taking care of self who to worry about and who will listen to the worries.

Guru ji conclude the creator being infinite, higher than the highest and only creator reaches to full self.
Please note all errors are mine and I stand corrected.

Sat Sri Akal.
