Quote: ESSENCE: In the salok, Guru ji sets the objective of discourse in Astpadi 2. In understanding of the creator solutions are found for the forsaken, deserted, in misery and in sickness. Guru ji humbly submit to the aware company of the creator.
Guru Arjan Dev ji in Astpadi 2nd, 8th and final sabad state that all kind of manifestations are one creator so showing. A tree, a cow, humble and pious contemplators and the ones sharing company of such people. The best service to self and others is to ever increase and be aware of our understanding of the one creator. | Please note all errors are mine and I stand corrected.

I want to express my gratitude at this series you are writing about Sukhmani Sahib. The prayer itself is deeply meaningful and beautiful and your insight into it is most helpful.
Since I have been reading it in my Google reader, it wouldn't show here that I have read it at all.
I encourage you to keep writing about it. You are doing more good than you know. | | The following members appreciate Mai Harinder Kaur Ji for the above message.

Any suggestions feel free. I have done: Salok Baba/Sheik Farid ji ke; Rehraas Sahib; Kirtan Sohila as well all of Sukhmani Sahib (I am trying to post One Pauri/Sabad to encourage dialog).
I might attempt: Japji Sahib, Anand Sahib and Jaap Sahib next.
Any wishes in order or other let me know and if I can I will be happy to do so. Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=37778Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=37778

Sat Sri Akal. | Ambarsaria ji,
You're welcome.
I would encourage you to tackle Japji Sahib after you finish this series. It is the essence of Sikhi, some of our deepest and yet most accessible prayers. I have read that it is a commentary of the Mool Mantar. If so, what a commentary! | | The following member appreciates Mai Harinder Kaur Ji for the above message.
