Many people tend to think about their spirituality when thinking about the new year and how best to implement that spirituality into their every day lives. Many people have difficulty doing so! Creating a daily or regular spiritual practice can be tough, but it is a great way to stay connected with the divine, the universe or whatever it may mean to you. Below are a couple of simple spirituality tips that may help you to integrate your spirituality into a regular or daily practice - Sitting Meditation: Ten minutes of sitting meditation can clear your mind and keep you well connected to the world around you. Sit in the same position for ten minutes and incorporate a single hand gesture of some kind ( a mudra). Focus strictly on your breathing. Long deep inhales and long, strong exhales. Picture the power of the universe entering your life force with each and every breath. - Start a Journal: Begin writing about whatever is on your mind, your daily experiences, thoughts, feelings etc.. This is a fantastic way to discover what might be out of balance within you so that it can be remedied. It will assist you in setting personal goals and raise your awareness spirituality. This is also a good way to express gratitude and be thankful for all that you do have while working on your personal evolution.
