| | | | | Re: lessons of life Surinder ji,
Tthis made me feel so light-hearted after a tense morning. We go to our parents Truth and Love for guidance so that we can create and nurture Wisdom and Peace as our children. Some of us would like the reference. Where did you find this? |

| | | | | Re: lessons of life I would like to ask you all the following questions and will welcome all of your answers: - What do like about yourself?
- What are your strengths as person? A friend? A spouse? A parent? A family member?
- How do you approve of or appreciate yourself?
- How are you unique?
- What can you do to take better care of yourself?
The answers should be answered as a Sikh of the Guru. Your answer can be lengthy or short. |

The answers should be answered as a Sikh of the Guru. Your answer can be lengthy or short. | Respected Begum Ji, i don't know why you are asking all this, but anyways- - What do like about yourself?
I LIKE THAT I AM IN HUMAN FORM, ESPECIALLY AS A WOMAN, WAHEGURU JI HAS GIVEN ME A CHANCE TO COME UNDER HIS GRACE FOR EVER....- What are your strengths as person? A friend? A spouse? A parent? A family member?
AS A PERSON, I HAVE NO STRENGTHS OF MY OWN. ALL IS WAHEGURU JI'S GRACE. AS A FRIEND I GIVE FULL RESPECT TO THE OTHER PERSON, AND LEAVE THE REST UPON KARTA. AS A SPOUSE, I LEARNED TO BE PATIENT, THE GREATEST LESSON OF HUMAN LIFE. AS A PARENT, I AM THEIR FRIEND. AS A FAMILY MEMBER, I TRY TO GIVE FULL RESPECT TO EVERY BODY.- How do you approve of or appreciate yourself?
I DON'T APPROVE OR APPRECIATE MYSELF. WHO AM I TO DO THAT???I AM NOT UNIQUE. I AM JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER HUMANS, WE ALL ARE GIVEN A MISSION TO ACCOMPLISH, AND I THINK THAT WE MUST HELP ONE ANOTHER TO REACH THAT GOAL.- What can you do to take better care of yourself?
WHO AM I TO TAKE CARE OF MYSELF. WAHEGURU JI IS DOING ALL. RIGHTEOUS BEGUM JI, ME NEECH TOOK THE LIBERTY TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS FIRST, BUT THEY MAY NOT BE ACCORDING TO WHAT YOU EXPECTED , IF NOT PLEASE FORGIVE ME. humbly asking for everybody's forgiveness |

| | | | | Re: lessons of life According to “Emotional Intelligence” by Daniel Goleman People who are high in emotional intelligence are socially poised. They have a notable capacity for taking responsibility, and they are sympathetic and caring in their relationships. Their emotional life is rich, and they express their feelings appropriately (rather than, say, in outbursts they later regret). They are comfortable with themselves, with others and with the social universe they live in.Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=16481
I do see you in this light as explained here. Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=16481
So why did I ask you all these questions?
This is my way of expressing gratitude to your wonderful contributions to the sikh people. Of course "my way" means the I-ness (ego) is still very large in me and I certainly have to work in this area. |

This is a great answer by Surinder. It will be very interesting so see what kinds of patterns emerge in the answers over a period of time. |
