Indian muslim a sucess story:- lessons for Sikhs

I write this article not in awe but as a apprecaition to a community who has staged a remarkable comeback from ashes of 1947.

It is a time for introspection for we Sikhs of INDIA.( I have excluded the western sikhs who are doing a remarkable Job in there new country )

I shall deal the topics onder two heads :-

Firstly :- The evidence of there sucess

Secondly :- Reasons for their sucess

Firstly :- The evidence of there sucess

a ) Bolly wood a journey from 1947 to 2006 :- There was a time when the word Muslim was changed to hindoo name such as Dilip kumar , Sanjay kumar etc . Today they are the hottest selling stuff in movieland . They are the makers of so amny movies
Contrast this with Sikh who started with so much good will but have stagnated at Deols and todays Shergill.

b) Technology :- They have done some very good science such as

Rocket science in the President KALAM and his book " Wings of fire "

Wipro a world class software firm

CIPLA a world class drug firm.

3) Indian Idol :- The boy is a Muslim . Sikhs did not even take part in it.

4 ) Diamond Industry :- All the technical part and hard part are done by muslims . The hindoos only trade in it.

5) Increase in population :- One way life rewards is by an increasing number of ones population.

5 ) Political party :- They are the secret behind the sucess of many political parties with faces such as Ex PM Dev gowda , Mulayam singh etc.

Secondly :- Reasons for their sucess are manifold :-

1) Nationalist :- They are now highly nationalist and vote with the conscious of nation .

2) Casteless society: They dont really practise caste and abhor people who talk about it. Contrast this with our super hindu attitude of being supra casteist. Our matrimonial stink of it.

3 ) Faith in God :- They have a very deep faith in there God ALLAH.

4 ) Dignity of labour :- They do not tend to degrade any kind of work . We all seem to think that doctors and engineers are the end all profession.

5) Ability to self heal inflicted community wounds due to riots : They have been most affected by riots and progroms than any other group .They are however able to heal themselves and move ahead.
We in contrast keep on nursing and reopening our wounds and live in self pity even when no one is bothered about us .
A child like attitude of ( JHAII MARDAII vintage ) . We keep on asking one comission after other which are given to us like alms .We must learn this art of healing one self from them so that we dont go in long periods of despair after a riot/progrom ( god forbid any more ).

6) Surgical use of force: They have been able to use it with a surgical like precision for their gains.
I have a strong feeling that the

bollywood sucess is a under world story
Jet airway take over of sahara is also a mystery.

7 ) More number of children :- They have on an average 4-5 childrens compared to none or one by sikhs

8 ) Polygamy : It enables smart genes to procrate.

9) Girl ratio : They have a healthy girl ratio compared to ours . See also my thread on "Missing Sikh Girl "on this site


Now we Sikhs have also done well in National walk especially in

Agriculture
Soldiering in 1947,65 ,71
sports

Thank to our farming community.The other groups ( Not a Sikh way of talking strictly ) the ex Khatris , Ramgarhia etc have generally lagged behind in national conscious till recently we got our first PM. After 1984 we have generally been nursing our wounds only . No contribution in science , technology , education for our country .


Now after all the points given for the Muslims sucess is also given in our beloved " Guru Granth Sahib " ( except may be 8 th though there is some evidence that some of our preceding Gurus practised it.)

We must now leave our past behind as a bad joke. There are now enough opporunity in this universe to look for a golden future for those of us who are willing to exercise their will. Example as of today are :-

Enrollment in Army of USA and INDIA
Nursing in USA
Basic science graduate shortage in west

There is no reason why we cant be smarter than the Muslims

After all our motto is

"Nische kar Apni Jeet karoo " and we are competitive by nature.

For it is said that " Jo Jitee Wo Sikander "

Then only we will fullfill the dream of

"RAJ kAREGA KHALSA"

Your post is really mind blowing , and liked it , and I agree with what you wrote .

Why Indians cannot do ?

They have a typical mediocre mindset of leg pulling , and a crab mentality .

When see that some of the sikhs living in the land of christians , making success on their readymade successful environment , and hating the christians .

Sikhs are too much preoccupied with their religion .


They have to be bit rational and Intellectual thinkers , then only it is possible what you are expecting in your post.

So in war we shall have indian muslims fighting pakistani muslims.

hps62, what you have written is absolutely correct.

One fact is that in the indian army, we have very few muslim officers and jawans as compared to other religions. We have more sikhs than muslims!!! [ just compare this to the national population of sikhs and muslims ]. Any gusses Why????

It is considered good or even hip when a high class muslim youth wears the muslim cap and/or sports a muslim style beard.... but in sikhism, tying a turban is considered inconvinent, keeping kesh is considered unhip. WHY????

When ever i see a sikh with trimmed beard, or a sikh man with a small patka on his head and a cap... i feel ashamed. I feel ashamed when i see the so called punjabi rock stars, imitating the Afro Americans. How can we reach the goal of raj karega khalsa?

So let us remember our anthem

" Deh Siva war moha sub karman sa ho na daroo"

let us serve our respective country where ever we are as a global citizen .

Let us be fearless in what ever duty if I may say the " mankind assigns us to carry out "

Let us come out with flying colors how so ever the difficult ( challenging ) the task may be.

Courage is a state of mind and the battle fields vary for different people in different professions.

I think i understand what you mean by that. [ forgive my ignorance ] In other words, raj karega khalsa means that khalsa will not rule the world like saddam hussain or hitler wanted but will come up with a society with peace and happiness [ in crude words ]. Well thats a nice thought... an upliftment not just for oneself , but for the entire society. A beautiful thought

we have no desire to be Hitler /saddam /mussolini like people.

we are the soldiers of mankind or may be if I may say the guardian of life it self.

Well ther actions speak for themselves which are louder than our words.

This is an other eg of a successful Muslim .

See Amir khan shedding tears for the displaced Narmada dam residents. Are they real tears for the wounded Narmada outsee

What is his loci standi beside as an an actor /celebrity.

The PM did not utter a word when it was his primary duty.

If he feels so strongly about people to be displaced by waters of Narmada.

Why does he not feel the same about Kashmiri Hindus who have been displaced by the terrorist from there’s ancestors land .

He should also go and protest in Jammu seeking ther e rehablitation.


Also in big Movie hit Rang Basanti see the way he brings down a tall Punjabi Jatt farmer in a wrestling match . He in single to single match was thrown out of the ring initially .

He returns back with a greater number of people.

This is a secret message in it that you can bring down a Jatt farmer by number . Make him politically irrelevant

These all reflect there inner Psyche.

What was his technique to defeat the handsome tall farmer. Not strength or skills. Just plain and simple number of people hea had to wrestle with.
