Waheguru ji ka khalsa
Waheguru ji ki fateh

Once in a small school there was a teacher. Everyday two kids would come to school.
After bowing & praising the teacher one kid would leave school to play and the other would stay there and listen to teacher. At first he couldn’t understand much but slowly he started to absorb. At times he would doubt and question the teacher but the teacher (wise & Kind) would always clear his doubts.

Time went by; the first student without guidance became proud and stupid. Teacher was very unhappy. The other student turned up Kind and wise just like the teacher and the teacher was very proud of him.

This teacher is Shri Guru Granth Sahib jeeo and we are the kids. Going to the Gurudwara everyday might give us some personal satisfaction but we would achieve nothing unless you contemplate on Gurbani (teachings).

Blindingly following the person in front without any rational thinking is defying the very purpose of a Gursikh. Sikhs are not born with Sikhism encoded in them; we absorb and learn.

In this learning process there are bound to be some doubts which should get cleared once we start reading, understanding & following Gurbani . Others might be at different levels as you or I, have a different understanding. Don’t expect all Sikhs to think alike. Always seek guidance from Satguru & follow Gurmat.

Thanks
