Sool..Surahi..Khanjar..Piyala....the vast majority of the IMAGERY in this poem is linked to Alcohol Drinking....Bhatth KHERRIAN da rehhnna..The BHATTH KHERRAS are a family mentioned in HEER RANJHA Classic Love Story.....

When I was a child...a few decades back..it was the Fashion for Ragis to Singh Gurbani based on popular Hindi Film Tunes.....it became so common that practically 100% Ragis snag all kirtan to Bollywood Film Muisc Tunes...but over time sangats began to object that the Hindi Tune would automatically take the MIND AWAY form the Gurbani to the Hindi Film Scene....and after a few years the ragis toned down on this trend...as they realsied that GURU ji has written Gurbani on its Very Own Raags, Ghars, Chhands surtaal and sargam....and the MUSIC/Instruments should always remain SUBSERVIENT to the GURBANI....and the muisc/tune shouldnt draw too much attention to itself...its just a MEDIUM....

In the above POEM too the Imagery is not at all "dharamic/religious"....what brings to MIND is the scene of a Drunkard demanding the serving Girl bring him more WINE...etc etc...

Our water pitchers are like stakes of torture and our cups have edges like daggers. Your neglect is like the suffering of animals at the hands of butchers.
Our Beloved Lord's straw bed is more pleasing to us than living in costly furnace-like mansions.

ਉਪ੍ਰੋਕਤ ਗੀਤ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੋੜ੍ਹਤਾ ਹਿਤ ਕੋਈ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਈ ਨੰਦ ਲਾਲ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਲੋਕ ਗਮਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਲਗੀਧਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਕੋਈ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੱਚੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋਣ ਉਪ੍ਰੰਤ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਗੜ੍ਹੀਓਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਮਾਛੀਵਾੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੁੰਜੇ ਸੁੱਤਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਖਿਆਲ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਹੈ।Some say that When Bhai Nand Lal was going to pass away..Guru Gobind Singh ji wrote this geet especially to be passed ON to Guru teg bahadur Ji !! Others claim Guru Ji wrote this when he was in Machhiwarra Jungle soon after the battle of Chamkaur and loss of his eldest sons and wrote this geet addressed to Akal Purakh.

ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਪ੍ਰੋਕਤ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸਬੂਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਪਰ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੀਕ ਸਿੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ। ਦੂਜੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਬੂਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੀਕ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਲੀ ‘‘ਸੂਲ ਸੁਰਾਹੀ ਖੰਜਰ ਪਿਆਲਾ’’ ਵਾਲੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਹਿਤ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਅਤਿਅੰਤ ਲੋੜ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੀ ਸੰਖੇਪਕ ਵੀਚਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। The two “popularly advocated” proofs are not only self contradictory , and not only DON’T MATCH internally with the imagery of “MITTAR PYARA (Akal purakh or Guru teg bahadur ji ) and the “Sool Surahi Khanjar Pyala”
ਵੀਚਾਰ considearions..
ਉਪ੍ਰੋਕਤ ਸ਼ਬਦ 1428 ਸਫ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਤ ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਦੇ ਸਫ਼ਾ 709 ਤੋਂ 712 ਤਕ 10 ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੇਵਾਂ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹੈ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਲੇਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਾ:10 ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼, ਬੇਨਤੀ, ਅਕਾਲ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਤਥਾ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਖੰਡਨ ਰੂਪ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਰਾਮਕਲੀ, ਸੋਰਠ, ਕਲਿਆਣ ਆਦਿਕ ਰਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਸ ਛੇਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ‘ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ 10’ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿਚਲੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਵੀ ਦੂਜੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਸੰਗਤਿ ਬਲਕਿ ਬੋਲੀ ਵੀ ਦੂਜੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਸਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਸਿੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਹਿਤ ਜਾਣ-ਬੁੱਝ ਕੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੁਸੇੜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸੁਤੇ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿੱਛੜੇ ਯਾਰ ਲਈ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸੰਕੋਚਕ ਵੇਰਵਾ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੈ – This geet appears on Page 709-712 among a collection of 10 Shabads under the title Patshai 10. It’s the SIXTH shabad. The other shabads are all aboutteachings, prayers, worship of Akal and against idol worship, and also under various Raags such as Ramkali, sorath, Kalian etc. But this Sixth Shabad stands out because it carries a different Title: KHYAAL (thoughts)…and also due to its Language being PURE PANJABI as compared to the other 9 shabads which are in Brij Bhash and sanskrit. This gives rise to a suspicion that its external to this collection and has been added in later.
ਖ਼ਿਆਲ Khyaal..thoughts..??? This word is often used by Muslim GHAZAL and KWALI singers, when in between singing vocal alaap they provide some external example/story/tale to embellish their ghazal/kavita. This interjection is called Khyaal, dohra or Tappa.

ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਤੋਂ ਧਿਆਨ, ਵਿਚਾਰ, ਸੰਕਲਪ ਆਦਿਕ ਕਈ ਭਾਵ ਲਏ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ -
ਧਿਆਨ : ਤੇਰਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਿੱਧਰ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰਾ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਕਿੱਧਰ ਹੈ।
ਵਿਚਾਰ : ਤੇਰੀ ਹੁਣ ਕੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਣ ਕੀ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਹੈ।
ਸੰਕਲਪ : ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਫੁਰਿਆ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਆਇਆ।
ਇਤਿਆਦਿਕ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਭਾਵ ਲਏ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਨੋਟ - ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਗਵੱਈਏ ਰਾਗ ਗਾਉਣ ਸਮੇਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਵਿੱਚ-ਵਿੱਚ ਅਲਾਪਕ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ‘ਖ਼ਿਆਲ’, ‘ਦੋਹੜਾ’ ਜਾਂ ‘ਟੱਪਾ’ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ।ਹੁਣ ਲੋੜ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ‘‘ਯਾਰੜੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਥਰ ਚੰਗਾ’’ ਵਾਲਾ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ।

Now we need to find out WHO is the person who has this KHYAAL referred to here..in: Yaarrreh da sanu sathar chnggah…..and this person naturally is HEER of the Heer Ranjha famous Love story referred to in Punjabi Folklore by Damodar, waris Shah and even Bhai gurdass Ji.

ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹੀਰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਰਾਂਝੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪ੍ਰੋਕਤ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ‘ਵਾਰਸਸ਼ਾਹ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਦਮੋਦਰ’ ਆਦਿਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿੱਸੇ ਵੀ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ - ‘‘ਰਾਂਝਾ ਹੀਰ ਵਖਾਣੀਐ ਉਹ ਪਿਰਮ ਪਿਰਾਤੀ’’।

ਹਰੇਕ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ‘ਰਾਂਝਾ ਜਾਤਿ’ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਨੌਜੁਆਨ, ਧੀਦੋ ਨਾਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਹਜ਼ਾਰੇ (ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ) ਦਾ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਝੰਗ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ (ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ) ਦੀ ਹੀਰ ਨਾਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ‘ਸਿਆਲ ਜਾਤਿ’ ਦੀ ਜੱਟੀ ਚੂਚਕ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਹੈ ਸੀ। ਰਾਂਝੇ ਤੇ ਹੀਰ ਦਾ ਆਪੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਥਾਹ ਪਿਆਰ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ, ਪਰ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਹੀਰ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ‘ਰੰਗਪੁਰ ਖੇੜਿਆਂ’ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

DHEEDOH a muslim resident of Takhat hazara (in Pakistan) belonging to the Ranjha Jatt Clan fell in love with HEER the Muslim daughter of Sial jatt Clan resident in JHANG (in Pakistan). Heer’s parents objected to the illicit Love affair and forcibly married off Heer to a Resident of RANGPUR-KHERRA Jatt Clan !!

ਖੇੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੰਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਮੰਨੀ ਉੱਘੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲਾ ਝੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੰਗਪੁਰ ਖੇੜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਪਿੰਡ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਖੇੜੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸਰਦੇ-ਪੁੱਜਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਅਮੀਰ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਹੀਰ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ (ਧਿਆਨ) ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਰਾਂਝੇ ਵੱਲ ਹੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਰਾਂਝੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਇੰਝ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਰਜਾਈਆਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਰੋਗ ‘ਦੁਖਦਾਈ’ ਹਨ ਬਲਕਿ ਨਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂ ਡੱਸਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

Now Heer was legally married to resident of Kherra and while he was also rich and comfortable..Heer was constantly “THINKING” (thoughts) about RANJHA….and thus this KHYAAL comes in….and she says….OH MY Yaar…in your absence..these Soft woolen Blankets are not all comfortable but sting like Snakes

ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਜੋਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੁਰਾਹੀ (ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਟਕੀ) ਅਤੇ (ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਪੀਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਪਿਆਲਾ ਸੂਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਖੰਜਰ ਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਤੇਰਾ ਵਿਛੋੜਾ ਕਸਾਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਿੰਗ ਸਹਾਰਣ ਵਾਂਗੂ ਹੈ। ਕਸਾਈ ਲੋਕ ਇੱਕ ਲੋਹੇ ਦਾ ਬਿੰਗ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ‘ਸੂਆ’ ਵੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪੋਲਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗਰਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੁੰਬੇ ਦੀ ਪਿਛਲੀ ਚੱਕੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੋਭ ਕੇ ਪੰਘਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਚਰਬੀ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਪੀਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਦੁੰਬਾ ਵਿਚਾਰਾ ਤੜਫਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Your absence is torturous like the BING of Butchers..( BING was a special hollow iron rod sharpened at one end. It was heated red hot and thrust deep into the HIND QUARTERS of a fat healthy Ram or buffalo/bull. The HEATED hollow rod would then melt the FAT inside the ram/bull/buffalo and the person or butcher would SUCK the melted Fat out and enjoy the drink…..while the poor ram/buffalo/bull screamed in pain !!

‘‘ਯਾਰੜੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਥਰ ਚੰਗਾ’’ ਭਾਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਸੱਥਰ (ਭੁੰਜੇ ਸੌਣਾ) ਵੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਖੇੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਤਪਦਾ-ਬਲਦਾ ਭੱਠ ਹੈ।

OH My Yaar..when you are with ME and by my side…sleep comes even on the GROUND…but in your absence….life in KHERRA household is like living in a Brick klin !!

Sool..surahi…khanjar..pyalla..BING..butchers..wine and blood…Yaar etc etc Imagery and words don’t at all sync with the very same SENTIMENTS in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji !! How could the Tenth nanak stray so FAR from the previous NINE Nanaks ??

ਭਾਵ - ਉਪ੍ਰੋਕਤ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਵੀ ਪਿਰੀ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਦੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ਹੈ, ਇਸਦੇ ਉਲਟ

Merger with Him soothes even the most frightening scenes..
BUT IF there is SEPARATION from HIM..then evne the Most ‘soothing/comfortable” scene is actually terrifying

ਜਲ ਥਲ ਨੀਰਿ ਭਰੇ ਸੀਤਲ ਪਵਣ ਝੁਲਾਰਦੇ ॥…flood waters calm and serene..cool winds blowing…Warma nd comfortable beddings decorated with valuable diamonds and precious stones…are uncomfortable and distasteful if HE is absent.. Again the IMAGERY and Language is cultured and as per GURBANI..

ਭਾਵ - ਉਪ੍ਰੋਕਤ ਸੁਹਾਵਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਹੈ।
ਧਣੀ ਵਿਹੂਣਾ ਪਾਟ ਪਟੰਬਰ ਭਾਹੀ ਸੇਤੀ ਜਾਲੇ ॥
ਧੂੜੀ ਵਿਚਿ ਲੁਡੰਦੜੀ ਸੋਹਾਂ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੈ ਸਹ ਨਾਲੇ ॥

ਹੁਣ ਪਾਠਕ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਨ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਗੋਰੀ, ਚਿੱਟੀ ਚਮੜੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਜੱਟੀ ਹੀਰ ਦਾ ਵਿਜੋਗੀ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਤੇ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ, ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਿੱਥੇ।

Now its up to us to see the distinction between the KHYAAL of a Beautiful fair maiden Jattee Heer whose “love” is SKIN DEEP only….and the SPIRITUAL LOVE showcased in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji by the Gurus Bhagats and Sufi sants. Only a Rich muslim girl like Heer would be using that imagery of wine pitchers and sharp knives and butchers sucking fat out of animal behinds….those who substitute wine pitcher for “WATER PITCHER” ignore the background.

ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿੱਚ ‘‘ਸੂਲ ਸੁਰਾਹੀ ਖੰਜਰ ਪਿਆਲਾ’’, ਜੋ ਮੁਹਾਵਰਾ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੁਰਾਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਹੋ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ। ਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਮੁਹਾਵਰਾ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਪੀਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਰਾਬੀ ਤੇ ਵਿੱਸ਼ਈ ਹੀ ਯਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਹੀਰ ਜੱਟੀ ਨੇ ਰਾਂਝੇ ਯਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਧੰਨ ਹਨ ਅਜੋਕੇ ਉਹ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖ ਵੀਰ ਜੋ ਬਿਨਾ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ਹੀਰ ਜੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਆਦਿਕ ਕੱਚੀਆਂ ਬਾਣੀਆਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਝੂਮ-ਝੂਮ ਕੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਫੁੱਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਾਉਂਦੇ, ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਭੱਠ ਖੇੜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਅਤੇ ‘ਸੁਰਾਹੀ-ਪਿਆਲਾ’ ਕੇਵਲ ਹੀਰ ਹੀ ਆਖ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਮੁੱਕਦੀ ਗੱਲ, ਸੁਰਾਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਤਥਾ ਖੇੜੇ ਆਦਿਕ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ। ਇਹ ਕੇਵਲ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਸਾਕਤ ਮਤੀਏ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਹਿਤ ‘ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਿਆਰੇ’ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਪਾ:10 ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਨੋਟ - ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਬੀੜ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਮਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਾਲੀ 1770 ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੀ ਦੱਸੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਪੁਰਵਾਸੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਠੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਹੁਣ ਨਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪ੍ਰੋਕਤ ‘‘ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਿਆਰੇ’’ ਵਾਲਾ ਗੀਤ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹਜ਼ਾਰੇ ਵਾਲੇ 10 ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।

Note: The DG Bir of 1770 popularly called Bhai mani Singh bir and which was kept in the house of the late Raja gulab Singh in Delhi is now NO MORE. That DG bir didn’t have the 10 shabads popularly called Shabad hazareh (which includes this geet mittar pyareh Nu) Some DG birs have the 9 shabads and left out the Mittar Geet. ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤ ਅਨੰਤ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਗੜਨ ਭੰਜਨਹਾਰ। ....

ਕਵੀ ਕਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਕਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨ ਸਕਦੇ। ਰਚਨਾ ਕਵੀ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮਝ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਵੀ ਰਚਨਹਾਰ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਕਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਇੱਕ ਏਕੰਕਾਰ ਜੋਤਿ ਰੂਪ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ, ਹੀ ਸਭ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਰਚਨਾ ਤਿਲੰਗ ਕਾਫੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੈ।

ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਪਾ:10 ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵੀ ਕਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਉਚਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਾ:10 ਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਬਾਣੀ ਰਚੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਨਕ ਛਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ।
