Natural Nam Simran happens if all the above Guru teaching is imprinted in mind, and by doing so, cleaning of the filth with in is done seriously.
Thanks.

Singhbj ji

This is a good theme. Help me with this question. Somewhere in Gurbani there is a line, probably by Nanak, I am not sure, where it is said that even one who is mentally retarded but chants Gurbani is liberated. I never filed this one away. Now reading your thread it comes to mind. I do not have the words exactly right so I cannot find the tuk.

slightly different but related:

Japji Sahib, pauree 23:

saalaahee saalaahi aytee surat na paa-ee-aa.
The praisers praise the Lord, but they do not obtain intuitive understanding

nadee-aa atai vaah pavahi samund na jaanee-ahi.
-the streams and rivers flowing into the ocean do not know its vastness.

samund saah sultaan girhaa saytee maal Dhan.
Even kings and emperors, with mountains of property and oceans of wealth

keerhee tul na hovnee jay tis manhu na veesrahi. ||23||
-these are not even equal to an ant, who does not forget God. ||23||

It is a good one, Jasleen ji. The metaphor of the ant is very powerful throughout Gurbani. This one i will bookmark. Thanks.
