Contemporary Sikh Poetry
Jasdeep Hari Bhajan Singh Khalsa and Onkardeep Singh Khalsa, brothers and enthusiastic Sikh poets have released an exciting new book called: ‘Spiritual Poetry: A Disciple’s Journey’. The book contains 108 poems to inspire people in their lives. They have been written over eight years and capture their personal spiritual journey on the path of Sikh Dharma.

Some of the poems specifically relate to the Sikh way of life but most are generic and discuss different aspects of life and spirituality. Sikh poets have always been held in high regard in the east, however, very little of this poetry has filtered through to the western world. Spiritual Poetry: A Disciple’s Journey stands as the first of hopefully many more excellent examples of contemporary western Sikh poetry.
