Mohali, September 20
From now on, those found guilty of cow slaughter would face imprisonment of 10 years instead of two years at present. To further ensure that those indulging in cow slaughter do not get scot free, the Punjab Gau Sewa Board was initiating various steps, its Chairman Kimti Bhagat said here today.

After chairing the third governing body meeting of the Punjab Gau Sewa Board here, Kimti Bhagat said to check smuggling of cows for slaughtering, special ‘cow protection’ cells were being set up in the Punjab Police. At the district level, the cell would be headed by a DSP-rank officer, who would act as a nodal officer to check the offence.To rescue abandoned stray cattle, two ambulances have been purchased and a central control room was being established.

The chairman said to catch the stray cattle and relocate them at registered cattle sheds, the Punjab Government has sanctioned Rs 6.32 crore. The board would engage animal catcher on contract and pay them Rs 300 per animal.

If only the poor and the beggars on the streets "HUMANS" were also treated this way.

but then we have to set up a "Manukh sewa Society? and also appoint DSP rank officers to check ....Imho a DSP rank officer is inadequate..each dist thanna should have at least SP rank officer in charge fo cows..and at State level there shoudl be an IGP (Cow Division).
And what about DONKEYS...DOGS....cats...crows...camels..horses... ?? dont they deserve SP Rank officers too ??? DISCRIMINATION....

If they had killed a single cow way back in Nov 1984....all would still eb in jail..but they only killed innocenet SIKHS..so they are FREE...thats INDIA..worlds biggest DEMONCRAZY for you..

So now its out in the open in india a cow is worth more than a Sikh and you can get a longer prison sentence for killing a cow than a Sikh...And the hindu elite wonder why Khalistan has not gon away??

Actually muslims are the real winner.There is thousands of crore of illegal slaughtering and smuggling of cows trade going on .This butcher mafia is dominated by muslims.They either illegally sell meat in India or export live cows to bangladesh.Cows suffer a lot as they are transported in most inhumane way
.Govt don't get revenue which they could get from legal business.The mafia and corrupt people earn money.

INDIAN BUFFALO MEAT EXPORTS to MALAYSIA rank NUMBER ONE in terms of Tonnage/vlaue ?? and this is LEGAL KILLING and EXPORT....but then again..the "buffalo" may not be as "sacred" as the Brahman Cow ??
