Hey I'm new, I'm from Canada and I've only known a few Sikhs in my life, one of them was a pretty cool guy and funny too. Anyway I'm just here to learn what I can about Sikhism. Maybe impress my friend lol.

I knew that Sikh's can't cut their hair if they are following the 5 Ks. However I didn't know that they had to tie their hair in a specific manner.

I think if you believe that you are following the truth, you should stick to it even if it means people may unfairly treat you for following it. (Even your own family)

I saw a movie called Loose change on September 11th, it asks questions about what caused the Twin Towers to fall, did a 767 actually hit the Pentagon, etc.

I don't really think Sikhs should read the Quran as their first Guru seemed to have a lot of teachings that seemed to disaprove of what the Quran taught. Cutting off the hands of thieves, being able to have 4 wives, having to go to Mecca, how Islam needed war to spread itself early on, etc. I...

I wasn't saying Muslim or Christian's interpretation of heaven was correct. I was just giving an example, of what I wanted to know, so a Sikh could explain what Sikhs believe happens after death. Oh and what does Das mean? Does it mean "I" or "me" or is it a first name?
