okay reading all the point, what SPNs view on the Jaap, Tva prasdah swaya, and all the other writings that praise God such as jale hari, and what about khalsa mero roop hai khass.. writings like that?
ok to be honest and quite frank im gonna stop, your not reading it properly, THERE IS NO CLAIM THAT DG IS GURU....
that's like saying "oh that person believes that book, it their guru......"
there is an assumption that people can not get out of their head..... i had anmrit with japji...
"If you believe that then you are also claiming that Guru Gobind Singh did not declare the Aad Granth the last and only Guru of the Sikhs."
Never, nor has there been, even in the dasam granth something along the lines of what you have stated, in any of the posts of the people defending dasam...
okay, but who can loudly claim with full faith that "Guru Gobing Singh did not write dasam granth"... and if someone can.... then ask we should ask... are you now at the level of Guru Gobind Singh, or even high to dictate what they wrote and didn't.
has anyone considered that JAAP sahib, Tav Prasad Swaye, and Benti chaupai, not to mention the ardass, or Jale Hari Thale Hari... even Khlasa mero Roop hai Kass...etc. Are from there...
Even rehras sahib Sahib has Benti chaupai.
5 anmrit banis + anmrit sanchar + ardass = PANTH
Take any of...
yeah , im not saying DG is our guru.... we know that.... but look to it as an inspiration to bring the soldier side out..... remember see the gun in EVERYTHING.
but Dasam Pitta ji may have written, therefore we cant say yes or no to it. As Khalsa we are to take the GUN from everything, even in bad times "Dukh Daru Sukh Rog Bhiya" yeah people are gonna say all this dasam granth is this and that.... but do not dismiss it if you have not understood it...
Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji ki Fateh.
sadh sangat ji.
i would like to ask two questions in this thread.
after the first one has been answered i will proceed on the the next one.
quite simply, what does Waheguru mean.
:)
Re: Is meat eating by Sikhs is acceptable in Sikhism or not.
Humm, well I suppose that's up to you, how you feel comfortable practising Sikhi, by no means did I try to make you feel bad, forgive me for that.
But as guru said Waheguru is inside you, ask Waheguru and you will get your own...
Re: Is meat eating by Sikhs is acceptable in Sikhism or not.
i never knew guru arjan devi ji langer served meat, i really doubt that..... since langer is for everyone meat would not be served...
it is quite possible that people have developed a certain "need" for meat.... the reason panj...
Even then when people don't help themselves God still provides eg air to all....
When people help themselves and still remember God, they realise they aren't doing anything, its all Gods kirpa
