Namdhari Darbar announces support to Congress

SRI BHAINI SAHIB: The Namdhari community on Satuday put a full stop to all the rumours that it is not supporting Congress party this time. In a press release issued on Saturday, Sri Uday Singh and Sant Jagtar Singh said that the community has always supported the Congress party and the whole Namdhari community will vote for only Congress candidates.

The head of Namdhari Darbar Harvinder Singh Hanspal said that one should never forget the sacrifices laid down by the Congress party to achieve independence for the nation, hence, Namdharis are supporting the party.

Chamar Mahan Sabha's unconditional support to Congress well received by sabha cadre

CHANDIGARH: The unconditional support announced by the Chamar Mahan Sabha in favour of the Congress Party yesterday was well received by the sabha's cadre as most of the members accepting the decision taken by the sabha's president, Paramjit Singh Kainth have started supporting the candidates of the congress party in their respective assembly constituencies.

Kainth in a statement issued here made a claim in this respect and added that most of the members have started campaigning in favour of the congress Party candidates in their respective areas and trying to add into the kitty of the congress party according to their strength. Kainth also claimed that the sabha has taken a decision to give unconditional support to the congress party only after Punjab Congress Chief, Capt. Amarinder Singh , his wife Preneet Kaur, union state minister for external affairs, have given an undertaking to implement the demands being raised by the sabha in its recently released Poll Agenda-2012 and the decision has been taken keeping in mind the interests of the scheduled castes especially the Chamar community and only the congress party come forward to give assurance to look into the demands concerning the welfare of the state scheduled castes.

He further added that after making the announcement regarding supporting the Congress Party he himself paid a visit to Samana assembly segement area from where son of Punjab Congress Chief, Capt. Amarinder Singh, Raninder Singh alias Tikku is contesting the assembly election and during the tour he urged the sabha's member's to support Tikku whole heartily and fan out in the area in the support of the party. He claimed that the sabha is supporting the congress party in the state and hope that the congress party will honour its commitment if voted to power in the state after the assembly elections.

According to Kainth now the sabha's members are involved in making canvasing in favour of the congress party candidates in the state and giving their best in this endeavour.

I read various "support" pledges from various Babas, Deras, and CASTE Based Groups...its clear that CASTEISM and Babaism derawaad has grown very deep roots in Punjab...SIKHS as a GROUP have absolutley NO VALIDITY or Value....
