Actual Paraksh Gurpurab Of Guru Annak Ji Sahib

KATTAK KE VISAKH ?

Almost ALL historical records - Vilaytee Janamsakhi, Bhai Gurdass Ji, and others that follow write that Guru nanak Ji Sahib was born on 15th APRIL - Vasakh.

Only the ANTI-GURU, Anti-Gurmatt and Anti-Sikh HUNDALIS ( Descendants of the ones REJECTED for Gurgadhi - beginning with the Udasi sons of Guru nanak Ji, the two sons of Guru Angad Ji, the sons of Guru Amardass Ji and the Prithiya elder son of Guru Arjun Ji..etc etc) on one hand tried to write and spread spurious Bani under the name of Nanak to cause confusion, carried on physical enmity and also corrupted Sikh History by writing the totally false and spurious BHAI BALA Janamsakhi. It is thsi Janamsakhi that declares that Guru nanak Ji was born in KATTAK - a Month that is ashubh/unholy !!! The Hundalis did this to show that compared to them Guru nanak Ji was born in a ashubh/unholy month !!
Bhai Karam Singh Historian published the authenticated research in a book called Kattak Ke Visakh and proved that Guru nanak Ji was born in VASAKH (15th April)

But since from the time of Guru Hargobind Ji onwards the ANTI-SIKH hundlais, prithiyas minas etcv controlled sikh institutions including Harmandar sahiba nd Akal Takhat etc they popularised the KATTAK NOVEMBER day as Gurpurab of Guru nanak Ji.
Inspite of overwhelming evidence including the work of Bhai GURDASS JI nephew of Guru Amardass Jia dn scribe of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji under Guru arjun Ji..Sikhs still continue to wrongly celebrate the Paraksh Gurpurab of our Founder in November !!!
Its time to CHANGE/CORRECT this great WRONG...This mistake should be wiped off in the Nanakshahi Calendar....530 years is long enough !!!

You are right but how to proceed.I think SGPC has to be convinced about this. What do you propose.?

Gurfateh.

I would like to share your optimism regarding the SGPC....but reality is SGPC is today completly under the control of RSS/BJP/Hindutva Forces. IT even failed to do a good job on the Nanaksahi Calendar..and has been publishing books that contain derogatory and false remarks about our Gurus, Wrong History/slanted history and has failed to do any parchaar of sikhi leading to proliferation of DERAS and Fake Babas in the hundreds of thousands...its own approved SGPC Sikh Rehat Maryada is VIOLATED in the SGPC Gurdwaras and Takhats. SGPC is a politicised body and not religious any more.
The Job now rests on US..the Ordinary SIKHS....just as it did in 1900's when the SINGH SABHA was born...and led to a clean up of the Gurdwaras... NOW the place of the Corrupt MAHANTS ( 1900s) is occupied by the SGPC....MY Family has been Hard Core SGPC/AKALI DAL supporters for generations...not any more..
