source: http://www.tribuneindia.com/2009/20091226/punjab.htm#5 Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/hard-talk/28659-panj-piaras-submit-darshan-singh-s.html Amritsar, December 25 ‘Panj Piaras’ comprising former Jathedars of Takhts and granthis here today submitted a clarification of a former Jathedar, Akal Takht, Prof Darshan Singh, on his controversial remarks to Jathedar, Akal Takht, Giani Gurbachan Singh. Akal Takht has called a meeting of the five Sikh high priests to discuss the written clarification on December 28. The ‘Panj Piaras’ were Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti, Giani Kewal Singh, Prof Manjit Singh, Giani Charan Singh and Giani Narinder Singh. Giani Kewal Singh said there were certain issues of the community which must be sorted out by forming a religious panel.
