God, Almighty, Lord whatever we want to call Him, IS THE EMBODIMENT OF LIGHT. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji conveys a very strong and healthy message about God being the Teacher, the Guru, The Savior. He Himself is Everything. He Himself gives the test, He Himself forgive us. He Himself gives, He Himself takes. He Himself the Speaker, He Himself the Listener. He is the Father, He is the Mother. His Praise is endless. We can go on and on, it never ends. He is without limits, So is His Praise. ਜੋਤਿ ਸਰੂਪੀ ਤਤ ਅਨੂਪ ॥ joth saroopee thath anoop || He is the Embodiment of light, the incomparable essence. ਆਪੇ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਰੂਪੀ ਬਾਲਾ ॥ aapae joth saroopee baalaa || You Yourself are the embodiment of light, forever young. ਜੋਤਿ ਸਰੂਪ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਸਚੇ ਸੋਭਾ ਪਾਇਦਾ ॥ joth saroop sadhaa sukhadhaathaa sachae sobhaa paaeidhaa || The Giver of peace is forever the embodiment of Light; from the True Lord, glory is obtained. || ਜੋਤਿ ਸਰੂਪੀ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਮਉਲੋ ॥ joth saroopee sabh jag moulo || He is the Embodiment of Light; through Him, the whole world blossoms forth.
