Re: Fly Away Black Crow - Who Has Sung This? >> Invite Your Friends

I am wondering if you are asking about a lady who sang this tune? Or was she the one to whom it was sung? You already have the YouTube of RajKarega Khalsa. So I am not understanding -- or maybe this is private?????

GOT IT.....

HEAVY JACK??????????

YouTube - Heavy Jack - Bandits in the Night & Fly Away (Black Crow)

If this is correct, it took 5 seconds. But on the other hand -- it turns out that the black crow is a pretty popular image -- and "helps death take me away" in one song I have found on the net. Amazing!!

The video you posted on YouTube is astonishing!

The link I have posted is to a Shabad from Bani, by Bhagat Kabir. The begining has some talking then they sing the shabad. The way it is sung is amazing. I just want to know who sung it.

Hey Ekh Musafir, you consider yourself a world authority on music, who is this singing?

Madho Hum Aise Tu Aisa - When will you show change

I prefer the one sung by Jagjit Singh

Rāg ga*oṛī.
Raag Gauree:

Panth nihārai kāmnī locẖan bẖarī lė usāsā.
The bride gazes at the path, and sighs with tearful eyes.

Ur na bẖījai pag nā kẖisai har ḏarsan kī āsā. ||1||
Her heart is not happy, but she does not retrace her steps, in hopes of seeing the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan. ||1||
Udahu na kāgā kārė.
So fly away, black crow,

Bėg milījai apunė rām pi*ārė. ||1|| rahā*o.
so that I may quickly meet my Beloved Lord. ||1||Pause||

Kahi Kabīr jīvan paḏ kāran har kī bẖagaṯ karījai.
Says Kabeer, to obtain the status of eternal life, worship the Lord with devotion.

Ėk āḏẖār nām nārā*in rasnā rām ravījai. ||2||1||14||65||
The Name of the Lord is my only Support; with my tongue, I recite the Lord's Name. ||2||1||14||65||

Re: Fly Away Black Crow - Who Has Sung This? >> Invite Your Friends

Bani by Kabir Ji

Sung by Jagjit Singh in his Album Madho Hum Aise tu Aisa

The Shabad describes the anguish of a bride longing for her husband given as an example to relate to for a seeker as to how to develop the feeling that will aid in the desire to meet God.

It is an example of devotion.

I do not follow your question otherwise.
