Kanwaljit veer it sure does as in the following but at least someone is studying it. May be not describing as written but some connection is better than none.




ਕਾਗਾ ਕਰੰਗ ਢੰਢੋਲਿਆ ਸਗਲਾ ਖਾਇਆ ਮਾਸੁ ॥
कागा करंग ढंढोलिआ सगला खाइआ मासु ॥
Kāgā karang dẖandẖoli▫ā saglā kẖā▫i▫ā mās.
The crows have searched my skeleton, and eaten all my flesh.
ਕਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੰਜਰ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਗੋਸ਼ਤ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਗਾ = ਕਾਗਾਂ ਨੇ, ਕਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ, ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ, ਦੁਨੀਆਵੀ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਸਕਿਆਂ ਨੇ। ਕਰੰਗ = ਪਿੰਜਰ, ਬਹੁਤ ਲਿੱਸਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਰੀਰ। ਸਗਲਾ = ਸਾਰਾ।

ਕਾਵਾਂਨੇ ਪਿੰਜਰ ਭੀ ਫੋਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਮਾਸ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਦੁਨੀਆਵੀ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂਦੇ ਚਸਕੇ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ-ਵਿਕਾਰ ਇਸ ਅੱਤ ਲਿੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਚੋਭਾਂ ਲਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੇਹਨ, ਇਸ ਭੌਂਕੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੱਤਿਆ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਖਿੱਚ ਲਈ ਹੈ)।

ਏ ਦੁਇ ਨੈਨਾ ਮਤਿ ਛੁਹਉ ਪਿਰ ਦੇਖਨ ਕੀ ਆਸ ॥੯੧॥
ए दुइ नैना मति छुहउ पिर देखन की आस ॥९१॥
Ė ḏu▫e nainā maṯ cẖẖuha▫o pir ḏekẖan kī ās. ||91||
But please do not touch these eyes; I hope to see my Lord. ||91||
ਹੇ ਕਾਵੋਂ! ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਨਾ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸਾਂ ਨਾਂ ਛੇੜਨਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਦੀ ਊਮੈਦ ਹੈ।
ਮਤਿ ਛੁਹਉ = ਰੱਬ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹ ਛੇੜੇ (ਵੇਖੋ, ਸ਼ਲੋਕ ਨੰ: ੨੫ ਵਿਚ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਭਿਜਉ', 'ਵਰਸਉ' ਅਤੇ 'ਤੁਟਉ')। ਆਸ = ਤਾਂਘ ॥੯੧॥

ਰੱਬ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਕਾਰ (ਮੇਰੀਆਂ) ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਹ ਛੇੜੇ, ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਤਾਂ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਟਿਕੀ ਰਹੇ ॥੯੧॥

ਕਾਗਾ ਚੂੰਡਿ ਨ ਪਿੰਜਰਾ ਬਸੈ ਤ ਉਡਰਿ ਜਾਹਿ ॥
कागा चूंडि न पिंजरा बसै त उडरि जाहि ॥
Kāgā cẖūnd na pinjrā basai ṯa udar jāhi.
O crow, do not peck at my skeleton; if you have landed on it, fly away.
ਹੇ ਕਾਵਾਂ! ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਰੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਂ ਚੂੰਡ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਹਿਸ ਤੇ ਬਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਉਡ ਜਾ।
ਕਾਗਾ = ਹੇ ਕਾਂ! ਹੇਦੁਨੀਆਵੀ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਸਕੇ! ਚੂੰਡਿ ਨ = ਨਾਹ ਠੂੰਗ। ਪਿੰਜਰਾ = ਸੁੱਕਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਰੀਰ।ਬਸੈ = (ਜੇ) ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ (ਹੈ), ਜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ, ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਰ ਸਕੇਂ। ਤ = ਤਾਂ।

ਹੇ ਕਾਂ! ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿੰਜਰ ਨਾਹ ਠੂੰਗ, ਜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ (ਇਹ ਗੱਲ) ਹੈ ਤਾਂ (ਇਥੋਂ) ਉੱਡ ਜਾਹ,

ਜਿਤੁ ਪਿੰਜਰੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਹੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਾਸੁ ਨ ਤਿਦੂ ਖਾਹਿ ॥੯੨॥
जितु पिंजरै मेरा सहु वसै मासु न तिदू खाहि ॥९२॥
Jiṯ pinjrai merā saho vasai mās na ṯiḏū kẖāhi. ||92||
Do not eat the flesh from that skeleton, within which my Husband Lord abides. ||92||
ਜਿਸ ਕਰੰਗ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਕੰਤ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਗੋਸ਼ਤ ਨਾਂ ਖਾ।
ਜਿਤੁ = ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ। ਜਿਤੁ ਪਿੰਜਰੈ = ਜਿਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ। ਤਿਦੂ = ਉਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ ॥੯੨॥

ਜਿਸਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਰਾ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਮਾਸ ਨਾਹ ਖਾਹ, (ਭਾਵ, ਹੇਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਚਸਕੇ! ਮੇਰੇ ਇਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਭਾਂ ਲਾਣੀਆਂ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਹ, ਤਰਸ ਕਰ, ਤੇ ਜਾਹ, ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਕਰ। ਇਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਤਾਂ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਨੂੰਵਿਸ਼ੇ-ਭੋਗਾਂ ਵਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨ ਦਾ ਜਤਨ ਨਾਹ ਕਰ) ॥੯੨॥

Yes that is there. But when we talk of Gurbani being an Ocean of Pearls, we feel sad for them.

Gurbani is to get people closer to realizing God, and it ends up being used in a song.

Kanwaljit Singh ji I look at such things in another way that one day the kid will grow up and put Baba Farid ji's name in younger people's ears. Hopefully some will pick up and dive further rather than be satisfied with superficiality. He definitely has the tools to connect to people and talent.

There is no perfect way that is 100% effective in all such situations.
