Chandigarh, Jan 8: The Punjab Police Act, 2007 which aims at certain reforms in the state police functioning and administration, was today challenged through a PIL filed by Ludhiana-based Resurgence India, an NGO arguing it was archaic like the 1861 Act enforced by the British rulers.
