Newbie- Use Form To Select Options From One Table, Save Form To Another

    I posted this a while back and got an answer but I think that I need
    even more elementary help.

    I have a table called Pastry. I want a form that a user will use to
    select items from drop down lists based on a query, then they will save
    their selections to a table called savedschedules. I cannot for the
    life of me get this to work. I can do it in SQL server but not in
    access. I think what I am missing here is the table relationships
    and that maybe I am using the wrong type of access form.
    Can someone set me on the right path?
