This is not Barasingha. This chital stag, other names are axis deer, spotted deer. scientific name is cervus axis.
Barasingha is called swamp deer(cervous devaceili) spelling could be wrong.
It is called Jhankhara by native Indians(in TAMIL/TELUGU term Jhinke is for deers in general).
It has been mentioned by Tenth Master is Vachitar Natak Sahib wide Mara Reechh, Rojh, Jankhara.(Hunted blue bull, bear and swamp deer at Paunta Sahib).
Again similar animals are mentioned in Charitropahyan perhaps in hunting done by Moguls.
