there is no text that I can see. but i have my explanation on ਆੱਖ ਫੇਰੂ ਅਖੰਡ ਪਾਠ.when doing akhand path if the pathi reads 25 pages per hour then it completes in 48 hours. but there are some pathi who have less speed and the path lags behind. at this stage there are clever pathi whose speed is much higher. that speed comes either by akh pheru what it means that the pathi looks at the line and moves his eyes along the line and completes the line. it is much faster. the other quick path is finger path. it is similar to akh pheru. in this system the smart pathi moves his finger along the line at much faster speed than reading. this also fills up the gap. they both do not read granth sahib but look like doing so. their speed becomes as much as 70 pages per hour. doing so they fill up the gap and akhand path completes in 48 hours. these musical pathies are alloted the time between 1 am and 4 am when the listener public is asleep.. take it the way you want but that is how it is done.
