A few months ago, we invited the Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas Police, the local FBI officers and some City Commissioners to our local Gurdwara with the help of SALDEF and its managing director Kavneet Singh Alag. It was a very fruitful get together where they heard the grievances of the Sikh community.In fact there is one Sikh Police Officer in Las Vegas, the first in Las Vegas history who was also present.
A seminar was arranged for a later date where the Sikh tenets were explained to them and bullying in schools was discussed along with other topics.
