I have a simple question. How do I write a query that looks at one field and
returns the whole record if the field I am looking at is Null.

Create a query based on the table (or other data source) containing the
data. Add the fields to the query that you want to see and make sure it
includes the field you want to search on.

Next in the criteria line under the field you are checking write is null

Select run and there will be your answers.
