    It doesn't just have to be words (dad - mum) as you can have whole sentences
    like

    Never odd or even

    Are we not drawn onward,we few,drawn onward to new era

    They were first invented by a guy called Sotades in 275BC - he use them to
    slag of the king (Potlemy 11) so he was encased in lead and thrown into the
    river, not saying that people who ask these type of questions on an MS Access
    Only Forum will have this done to them but they would be better doing a
    google search !!

    Oh yes - they are called palindromes

    (As you can see I'm a bit bored at the moment)
