    A well-designed and configured Access 2003 database will be almost
    instantaneous for most tasks.

    If yours is running slowly, and it is correctly indexed and appropriately
    interfaced, you might find the issue is due to some of the things Tony Toews

    Usually it is a problem with the way it is designed.

    Is your application shared with other users? If so is it split?
