In the Table, I can modify the data, but when I enter the Query which is
generated by this Table, I can't modify the data in this Query.

Why? How to solve this problem?

    Thanks!

The query results will be read-only if any of the following apply:

.. It has a GROUP BY clause (totals query).

.. It has a TRANSFORM clause (crosstab query).

.. It contains a DISTINCT predicate.

.. It uses First(), Sum(), Max(), Count(), etc. in the SELECT clause
    (performs aggregation).

    .. It involves a UNION.

.. It has a subquery in the SELECT clause.

.. It uses JOINs of different directions on multiple tables in the FROM
    clause.

.. The query's Recordset Type property is set to Snapshot.

.. The query is based on another query that is read-only (stacked query.)

.. Your permissions are read-only (Access security.)

.. The database is opened read-only, or the file attributes are read-only, or
the database is on read-only media (e.g. CD-ROM, network drive without write
    privileges.)

Since you're here... we have a small favor to ask...

More people are visiting & reading SPN than ever but far fewer are paying to sustain it. Advertising revenues across the online media have fallen fast. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Donating to SPN's is vote for free speech, for diversity of opinions, for the right of the people to stand up to religious bigotry. Without any affiliation to any organization, this constant struggle takes a lot of hard work to sustain as we entirely depend on the contributions of our esteemed writers/readers. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too... Fund our efforts and together we can keep the world informed about the real Sikh Sikhi Sikhism.
