Just as Islam uplifted status of women 1400 years ago compared to how they were treated before it, its time status of women is uplifted again from that of 1400 ago.

You cannot get stuck in time and say this is how it needs to be done till eternity, especially on social issues.

153. "And verily, this (i.e. Allah's Commandments mentioned in the above two Verses 151 and 152) is my Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path. This He has ordained for you that you may become Al-Muttaqun ."

Can you please include the name or number of the Surah you are referencing as well as the number of the Aya instead of just random Ayats atleast then whoever is interested can look them up and see the full Surah and find out in what circumstance that revelation was recieved as well as any fiqhul ruling derived from that verse. Avid who what when and why. All of that is important when interpreting a Surah or a Aya and also helps to prevent them being used out of context. JazakAllahu khayran.
