UK Sikh man hilariously turns Urban Outfitters into ‘Turban Outfitters’

London : A hilarious Twitter photo of a Sikh man in the UK turning a branch of fashion chain Urban Outfitters into ‘Turban Outfitters’ by using a sign has gone viral, says ANI.

Chaz Singh, who is councillor for Plymouth’s Drake Ward, created the funny snap when he drew the letter T on a paper and held the sign up in front of the letter U in ‘Urban Outfitters’, the Daily Star reported.

Singh said that he went into the store, asked for a pen and paper, and started to draw the T out. Singh, 41, said that people were chuckling as they walked past and one guy realised what he was doing and said it was just amazing.

He added that his snap was fun, but it’s also about being proud of who you are and his funny move has taken the whole concept of the turban and humanised it.

He is all over the southern counties press, and into areas around London. Tejwant ji and I checked his reach a few months back.

He also has a radio program, or did have one, from a London station that focused on life-style issues.

On one campaign tour, he and his turban were all the Union Jack.

A very energetic, chardi kala person.

Since you're here... we have a small favor to ask...

More people are visiting & reading SPN than ever but far fewer are paying to sustain it. Advertising revenues across the online media have fallen fast. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Donating to SPN's is vote for free speech, for diversity of opinions, for the right of the people to stand up to religious bigotry. Without any affiliation to any organization, this constant struggle takes a lot of hard work to sustain as we entirely depend on the contributions of our esteemed writers/readers. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too... Fund our efforts and together we can keep the world informed about the real Sikh Sikhi Sikhism. If everyone who writes or reads our content, who likes it, helps us to pay for it, our future would be much more secure. Every Contribution Matters, Contribute Generously!
