    Hi,

Sometime when am writing code in SQL view and try to select some other
part of the code, then text selection selects up till the last edited
position, somewhat similar to as if I have pressed the shift key down.

The problem persists even when I close the SQL window and reopen it.
Mostly I just copy all code and paste to notepad, edit there and paste
back to SQL view to not get troubled any further

Has somebody else ever faced this issue in Access 2003? This happens to
    me intermittently.

    Regards,
    HP

    Hi.

Look at the Status Bar at the bottom of the main Access window. Do you see
"EXT" ? If so, this means that Extended Selection is on, perhaps because you
pressed the F8 key. You should be able to press the Esc key to turn Extended
    Selection off.
