To ensure that people across the United States are working in a healthy and safe environment, the US Department of Labor came up with a standard called OSHA. Occupational Safety and Health Administration or OSHA is the official body of US that looks into the health and safety facilities provided by industries across the country. OSHA is authorized to take legal actions against companies in case they come across any health and safety violation in their workplace. Along with this OSHA provides safety-training courses for employees working in different industries. OSHA extended its services to other countries through accredited training providers who offers osha course across different parts of the world. OSHA accredited providers train employees to maintain a safe and healthy working condition not only for their benefit but also for the safety of their colleagues.

There are mainly three different types of OSHA safety training courses:
40 hours training course
24 hours training course
8 hours OSHA refresher course

OSHA courses are designed with interactive sessions that make training sessions more interesting. This will keep the knowledge gained from the training session fresh inside the mind of the employees and thus they can apply it effectively in their workplace. Candidates are evaluated based on a written test, which he/she has to pass within three attempts.

OSHA courses are aimed at employees and workers who are frequently in contact with hazardous work conditions. OSHA safety courses will nurture knowledge and skill in employees, which will enable them to manage health and safety of their workplace. These courses are frequently updated to make training relevant to the current working conditions of industries.
