ਸਿਰੀਰਾਗੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਘਰੁ ੬ ॥ ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਏਕੁ ਓਹੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਆ ਆਕਾਰੁ ॥ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਰਬ ਕੋ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥੧॥ ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਧਿਆਇ ॥ ਛੋਡਿ ਸਗਲ ਸਿਆਣਪਾ ਸਾਚਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਦੁਖੁ ਕਲੇਸੁ ਨ ਭਉ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਗੁਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਹੋਇ ॥ ਕੋਟਿ ਜਤਨਾ ਕਰਿ ਰਹੇ ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਤਰਿਓ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥੨॥ ਦੇਖਿ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਸਾਧਾਰੈ ਪਾਪ ਸਗਲੇ ਜਾਹਿ ॥ ਹਉ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਣੈ ਜਿ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਪੈਰੀ ਪਾਹਿ ॥੩॥ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਸਾਚੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ॥ ਸੇ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਜਿਨਾ ਮਨਿ ਇਹੁ ਭਾਉ ॥੪॥੨੪॥੯੪॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 51}

SIREE RAAG, FIFTH MEHL, SIXTH HOUSE: The One Lord is the Doer, the Cause of causes, who has created the creation. Meditate on the One, O my mind, who is the Support of all. || 1 || Meditate within your mind on the Guru's Feet. Give up all your clever mental tricks, and lovingly attune yourself to the True Word of the Shabad. || 1 || Pause || Suffering, agony and fear do not cling to one whose heart is filled with the GurMantra. Trying millions of things, people have grown weary, but without the Guru, none have been saved. || 2 || Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan, the mind is comforted and all sins depart. I am a sacrifice to those who fall at the Feet of the Guru. || 3 || In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, the True Name of the Lord comes to dwell in the mind. Maajh, Fifth Mehla:

safal s baanee jith naam vakhaanee ||
Blessed are those words, by which the Naam is chanted.

gur parasaadh kinai viralai jaanee ||
Rare are those who know this, by Guru's Grace.

Blessed is that time when one sings and hears the Lord's Name. Blessed and approved is the coming of such a one. ||1||

sae naethr paravaan jinee dharasan paekhaa ||
Those eyes which behold the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan are approved and accepted.

Those hands which write the Praises of the Lord are good.

sy crx suhwvy jo hir mwrig cly hau bil iqn sMig pCwxw jIau ]2]
sae charan suhaavae jo har maarag chalae ho bal thin sa(n)g pashhaanaa jeeo ||2||
Those feet which walk in the Lord's Way are beautiful. I am a sacrifice to that Congregation in which the Lord is recognized. ||2||

Listen, O my beloved friends and companions:

in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, you shall be saved in an instant.

Your sins will be cut out; your mind will be immaculate and pure. Your comings and goings shall cease. ||3||
