I have field with Y/N (-1 or 0) data entered into table 1. I update some
fields into another table 2. This table has a text field and I want to change
the -1 or 0 to a Y or N using an expression. What is the expression to do
this? Does it go into the Default Value of the fields property? I was thinkig
    something like this

IIf(Nz(dbo_tblProductversion.Attachments,0)=-1,"Y","N") but it soes not work.

Any Ideas? I really need help fast!

    Thanks

You need to use that expresion in a query. Not sure how you transfering your
data from one table to another (or why the need to), but I would guess an
append or update queary which would be a good place for your expression. Or
just format the data on your report or form on how you want it to appear.

Since you're here... we have a small favor to ask...

More people are visiting & reading SPN than ever but far fewer are paying to sustain it. Advertising revenues across the online media have fallen fast. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Donating to SPN's is vote for free speech, for diversity of opinions, for the right of the people to stand up to religious bigotry. Without any affiliation to any organization, this constant struggle takes a lot of hard work to sustain as we entirely depend on the contributions of our esteemed writers/readers. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too... Fund our efforts and together we can keep the world informed about the real Sikh Sikhi Sikhism. If everyone who writes or reads our content, who likes it, helps us to pay for it, our future would be much more secure. Every Contribution Matters, Contribute Generously!
