The question is this - I have a textbox on a form that is controlled by a
checkbox. It works like this if chkbox = -1 then textbox = "This is my text"
end if. When the program is in the run mode I want to be able to be able to
do a simple copy and paste of this date from within the textbox. If I open
the form in the full control mode (shift enter) I can right click copy/paste
this data. If I open it in the start up mode with no menus allowed, it will
not let me copy/ paste this text. I have most of the start up menus locked
out in the normal operating mode, but I would still like the users to be able
to copy/paste data from with in these textboxes, any ideas. I am using
    Access 2000.

build a custom menu bar for that form, and include the cut/copy/paste
functions somewhere within that menu bar. You should be able to use
those actions within the form then. Search the access help for
assistance with creating a custom menu bar.
