Rajasthan/ Punjab (October 22, 2013): It is learnt that self-styled godman who had been misguiding people by equating himself with Sikh Gurus has tendered written apology before the members of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satikar Committee led by Bhai Balbir Singh Muchhal.

As per information Lakha was previously based at Bahawalvasi near Balluana but the local Sikh sangat opposed his objectionable activities he shifted his base to village Roranwali, district Hanumangarh in Rajasthan.

Bhai Balbir Singh Muchhal told media persons that Lakha used to beat-up women as a show of his so-called powers, and ask these women to say that they see Guru Nanak Ji and Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Lakha.

“When Lakha’s activities came to the knowledge of Sikh sangat they contacted us” he said, while informing that Lakha has admitted in writing that he was misguiding people as he lacks any super-natural powers. He has apologized for equating himself with Sikh Guru and said that in future he shall not indulge in these type of activities.

It is notable that Lakha had been using and distorting certain panktis from Bhai Gurdas Ji’s Vaar to equate himself with Sikh Gurus.

Recently, Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh had taken notice of complaints against Lakha.

They need to keep an eye on this guy. In my experience, once people get into the mode of trickery, they rarely unlearn that habit.
By way of example, here in the U.S. there was a big-time Christian pastor named Peter Popoff, who engaged in audacious feats of deception, false 'healings', outright money-grubbing, fraud, fake telepathy, etc. He was notoriously exposed as a charlatan by the great James Randii, revealing the electronic device he was using to con people, and the brazen schemes he was perpetrating to fleece his followers.
I turned on a t.v. in a hotel last week and whom do I see? Peter Popoff, back at it! Again pulling the same greedy, sleazy tricks that he had infamously been exposed for!
Careful with these clowns!
