    Dear all!

The seed is before the roots (Mool). What is the seed if the beginning of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the Mool Mantar?

    Dear 21khalsa13 Ji!

Mool Mantar should begin with Satnaam, Karta Purakh . . . if ek oan kar is the seed. Is it right?

I would be inclined to speculate that God itself is the seed. The divine spark within you is the seed.

For without God there would be no Mool Mantra, It is the main "thing" the entire Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is about.

    Did I win, did I win? :D

Nothing can be better as the best is happening. Congratulations! Someone has realized it. May I ask why there is speculation after realizing truth?

Without God no seed would be in existence even. God is the origin of us all. Why do we not call us Mool Mantar? Please explain.

Is entire Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji about Mool Mantar? Please elaborate.

All who have realized their origin God, have won mind, Sansaar and its Maya.

    Love.

    Sat Sri Akal Ji

You pose some deep questions, Balbir Ji.

    >>May I ask why there is speculation after realizing truth?

I speculate becuase I'm new to Sikhi, I enjoy dipping my toes into philosophical discussions but I also realise that my extremely limited knowledge may give rise to mistakes. So I speculate if I am unsure.

    >>Without God no seed would be in existence even. God is the origin of us all. Why do we not call us Mool Mantar? Please explain.

Well that depends which root is in question. The way I see it, in the context of this discussion, God is the seed from which the Sacred text was inspired, and the Mool Mantra is the root of that text. Without God there would be no sacred text because that is what Sri Guru Granth Sahib is about. We as humans are out of this equation, imho. Unless you're speaking rather metaphorically, in which case I think you've lost me.

    >>Is entire Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji about Mool Mantar? Please elaborate.

Is the entire tree a root? No, the root is the foundation upon which the tree grows. The tree has many different attributes to the root; it has bark, leaves, and other stuff (hehe).

To spell out my thoughts on this: God is the life within the tree. God seeded (inspired) the root to form (the Mool Mantra) and the tree grew (the text expanded) with God (summed up in the Mool Mantra) at it's core.

It's variety, it's beauty and glory stand with God at it's core.

Thank you for your thought provoking questions Balbir Singh Ji!

My responses may be incorrect but it's certainly fun to think about! :D

    Dear Ishna Ji!

Are you really twenty-one? Gurmukhi pronunciation for twenty-one is ik-ee. God vee Ik Ee hai. God is also Unique and ONE.

Quote >>>I speculate becuase I'm new to Sikhi <<<
Perhaps old Sikh souls do not need to speculate. I ask why are they sent in this world again.

Quote >>>Without God there would be no sacred text <<<
I feel without God even profane text would not exist. Enlightened persons say all is sacred. I do not know why Satan smiles on such statements.
Some so-called holy experts believe everything may be Godly and sacred except few Hymns from Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Quote >>>Without God there would be no sacred text because that is what Sri Guru Granth Sahib is about. We as humans are out of this equation, imho. <<<
Is Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji not for us human beings? Let us sing the Gurshabad as Guru wants us to realize. How perfectly we fit in God's equation?

Quote >>>To spell out my thoughts on this: God is the life within the tree. God seeded (inspired) the root to form (the Mool Mantra) and the tree grew (the text expanded) with God (summed up in the Mool Mantra) at it's core. <<<

May I ask? How is it possible to remember God before Mool Mantar when Gurbani begins from Mool Mantar? Should not we remember God above all?

Quote >>>My responses may be incorrect but it's certainly fun to think about! <<<
Your responses seem correct. God is observing truth the same from your angle.

Sometimes I wish to ask God. Which tree has produced You if You are a seed? Is this our mind, a part of your creation?
