    I would like to stop the automatic rounding in a number field.

    Loreen,
    Open your table in Design View and select your number field. Look at the
    bottom half of the screen and see what is in the FieldSize field. If it says
    Long Integer or Integer, then you will need to change it to Double.

    There is no automatic rounding of a number field.

    What you are most likely seeing is the decimal places being removed. This
    is normally due to the fact that you defined your field as an Integer.
    Integers are whole numbers. They have no decimals.

    Just FYI, this is a very common question. Please search the newsgroup for
    your answer before posting a brand new thread. That is why the messages are
    retained for so long - to enable you to look for previous answers.
