You say 'if I double click on of the reports'. Could you identify which of
the reports that is? It might help to pin down the problem more quickly.

BTW: Could you please also clarify which version of the template you're
using? I haven't been able to reproduce the problem using Access 2007 Beta
or Access 2003. I'm afraid I'm not in a position to test with earlier
    versions right now.

    Hi Brendan

    Thanks for the quick reply!

The templaye I am refering to was downloaded from the following link:

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC012186931033.aspx?CategoryID=CT011366681033

and seems to be for Access 2003.

    1. Open the Contacts form and find "Carol Philips"
    2. Click the "Issues Reports" tab. You will see 6 reports listed.
    3. Double click the report called "Open Issues" and the error will be
    displayed

Please note that if you single click the report and then click the "Open
Report" button, the report works fine.

Thanks again for any help you can provide.

    Regards
    Greg

The wrong macro name has been assigned to the double-click event of the list
    box. Try this ...

Open the Contacts form in design view.

Select the list box control named 'lstReports'.

If the Properties window is not visible, display it by choosing Properties
    from the View menu.

Select the Events tab in the Properties window.

In the 'On Double Click' field in the Properties window, you'll see the
    following ...

View Reports Macros.lstReports : On Dbl Click

    Change it to this ...

Contacts Form Macros.lstReports : On Dbl Click

Unfortunately, we're still not quite finished, because there is another bug
in the Contacts Form Macros.lstReports : On Dbl Click macro. The second
argument, which specifies in which view the report should be opened, has
been left blank, which will cause another error if you attempt to run that
macro in its present form. Here's how to fix the macro ...

Open the Contacts Form Macros macro in design view.

Select the second macro name, 'lstReports : On Dbl Click'.

Click in the 'View' field down in the lower left corner of the macro
    designer.

From the list of available options, choose 'Print Preview'.

Save your changes, and double-clicking that list box should now successfully
    open the report.
