If you have a lot of the same names you can do a find and replace all (e.g.
replace all "X"s with "Y"). You can also copy and paste.

I've tried the copy & paste fuction but it would only display a message that
the hyperlink path could not be established. I've also tried the ctrl + ' to
copy the hyperlink from the above cell but I could not edit the copied
hyperlink path to link to the correct object. I've tried every thing/way I
could think of but the only method was your suggestion.

All hyperlinks to other objects outside the database work perfectly. I do
not know if other users of hyperlinks have experienced this issue with Access
2003. Maybe Microsoft will provide a "FIX" or PATCH, if we're lucky.

Since you're here... we have a small favor to ask...

More people are visiting & reading SPN than ever but far fewer are paying to sustain it. Advertising revenues across the online media have fallen fast. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Donating to SPN's is vote for free speech, for diversity of opinions, for the right of the people to stand up to religious bigotry. Without any affiliation to any organization, this constant struggle takes a lot of hard work to sustain as we entirely depend on the contributions of our esteemed writers/readers. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too... Fund our efforts and together we can keep the world informed about the real Sikh Sikhi Sikhism.
