Chandigarh, July 17 (IANS) Defending their 'detention' of Congress legislator Joginder Pal Jain, the Punjab Police Tuesday said they had done so on the basis of a 19-year-old case under the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities (Cofeposa) Act.
