Vijayawada, Nov 24: Punjab girl Manipreet Kaur created a new meet record in shotput by throwing 13.83 distance in the Girls U-20 category shotput finals, bettering 12.99 by Applesh of Haryana on the opening day of the 'Reliance' 23rd Junior National Athletics Championship here today.
