I'm working in Access, that is connected to a SQL Server. I'm used to
writing the prompts in the criteria in a normal mdb, however this is my first
time using access connected to sql server. The query needs to prompt the
user to input a date range to query. What do I need to put into the criteria
field of a query I designed in an adp.

    Thanks for all your help,
    Frank

If you are not accustomed to ADP, it would be much more simpler solution to
use a MDB file with linked tables to SQL-Server instead of an ADP project.

As to your question, this has been answered many times in the newsgroup
    about DAP:
    m.p.a.adp.sqlserver or on Googl:

    http://groups.google.ca/group/microsoft.public.access.adp.sqlserver

Since you're here... we have a small favor to ask...

More people are visiting & reading SPN than ever but far fewer are paying to sustain it. Advertising revenues across the online media have fallen fast. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Donating to SPN's is vote for free speech, for diversity of opinions, for the right of the people to stand up to religious bigotry. Without any affiliation to any organization, this constant struggle takes a lot of hard work to sustain as we entirely depend on the contributions of our esteemed writers/readers. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too... Fund our efforts and together we can keep the world informed about the real Sikh Sikhi Sikhism.
