Like many, I have visual limits. The 'reading layout view' that is now a
default setting in Outlook for attached files is very difficult forme to use.
I wanted to eliminate the reading layout as default setting, but when I tried
to follow Outlook's directions to do so (by clearing a setting 'Allow
starting in Reading Layout' supposedly under the General tab of the Options
dialog box in the Tools menu), I found that this setting is not even offered
to me. Microsoft needs to understand that not everyone finds the reading
layout useful, and instead of mandating that the user be required to take the
extra step of converting this to a full screen layout by checking 'print
view' under the View menu, stop setting this 'reading layout view' as a
default setting. Allow a user to set this, if desired. Stop adding work steps
for users who already face enough challenges as it is.

Sorry. This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the
database program in Office Professional. It appears your question may not
be related to these subjects. The Microsoft help system is not all that
clear and may have misdirected you here.

It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the
subject of your question. You should find people better able to address
    your problem there.
    http://tc2.atspace.com/0013-HowToSearch.htm#FindNewsgroup may help.

Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any
program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate the
operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question.
