    I'm trying to use a command button to open a specific excel template. I tried
    to use the wizard to pick a specific application, but it doesn't understand.
    Can someone post a script or macro for me to do this? My template is called
    "estimate.xlt"

    Thanks,
    Melissa

    If I understand you correctly, I think you might want to try this ...

    Function foo()

    Application.FollowHyperlink "C:\sample.txt"

    End Function

    I modified this and it's working nicely:
    Private Sub Command32_Click()

    FollowHyperlink "C:\~~~\Estimate Sheet.xlt"

    End Sub

    Thanks!
    Melissa
