Open data access pages in separate browser windows

    Hi everyone,

    I hope someone here can help me find the answer to this question. I have
    multiple data access pages, and they can each be opened with hyperlinks. In
    most cases, I only need one open at a time, but for a couple, I would like
    the first window to stay open when the user clicks the link and just have the
    second page open in a separate window. Anyone know how I can do that, or know
    where I can look to find the answer?

    Thanks,

    Beth

    This will not close the 1st window but simply open as new window on top of it

    You will need to change "InsertNameOfButton" to that used on your main form

    Private Sub InsertNameOfButton_Click()
    On Error GoTo Err_InsertNameOfButton_Click

    Dim stDocName As String
    Dim stLinkCriteria As String

    stDocName = "InsertNameOfForm"
    DoCmd.OpenForm stDocName, , , stLinkCriteria

    Exit_InsertNameOfButton_Click:
    Exit Sub

    Err_InsertNameOfButton_Click:
    MsgBox Err.Description
    Resume Exit_InsertNameOfButton_Click

    End Sub

    I have assumed that you will have a data access form open and then want to
    open another form on top of that.

    Hope this helps you along in the right direction

    Hi Wayne,

    Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure that's what I'm looking for, though. That
    works for forms, but I'm hoping to find out how to do the same thing with a
    Data Access Page, opening with a hyperlink rather than a command button.

    Thanks again,

    Beth
