Following a server failure, a number of Access 97 files required to compile
an Access database from .txt file exports from Lotus Notes were lost.
Relatively old backup files (including Access .mdt templates) have been
re-installed onto a new file server. All previous steps in the database
build process appear to work (using the Developers Tools on the same PC as
previously), including generation of the .mdb and .mde files. Problems arise
when trying to utilise the ODE Set Up Wizard, to write out the application
files to a directory, from which copies of the application itself can be cut
to CD for my customers. The wizard works, in terms of writing out
application files to the folder/directory, until a particular point - when it
comes across/is looking for the wrkgadm.exe file. The wizard stalls for a
while and then returns the following message "Bad Filename or Number". The
writing of the disk images in then terminated and incomplete. This files
definitely exists on the Developer's Tools PC. Can anyone shed any light on
what might be happening? Nothing has changed on the PC holding the
Developer's Tools, so it's very strange?
