The Gurmukhs worship the Lord, and find His celestial home.

Can we worship the Lord and find His celestial home ? Kindly expand on this.

Yes , Respected namjap ji, I shall try in brief as the page goes dead within 10 minutes.

Gurmukh [who has been stated to be as high as a saint in Bani at many places]worships HIm i.e eulogise HIm ,does keertan of HIs praises with devotional worship and in full fear of the lord gets the chance of being with HIM i.e he finds HIS home or finds HIM.
Gurmukh can be used in other sense that is the one who acts per Guru's instructions also finds HIM.
Likewise , sir, we can also do the same and as a result ...find HIM or HIs celestial home.

One who meets with the rewarding personality of the Guru, continually sings the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises. By Guru's Grace, such a rare one beholds the Lord with his eyes. ||6||
that's all..:)Subject To HIS Grace

Sikh80 ji,

What are Guru's instructions so that we may find God?

Guru's instructions cannot be put in a line.One can ,however, state that the teachings contained in SGGS ji would be the Guru's instructions that lead to equipoise and Jeevan Mukt.be living dead and overcoming ego..naam simran besides many other...

Lest I forget, I was just revising the notes that I have made at the site. I was reminded of Sant Maskeen ji who stated that sabad is the sound heard by us when the 'word' 'waheguru' is uttered. It was his way of explaining.Thus word' becomes Dhuni, naad , anhat naad and all that is linked with the sound.Similarly all that is linked with light also becomes 'word' as sound under ceratin conditions [as per physics] becomes light .Hence 'sabad' is also 'Naam'.

My presumption is , that I am free to make as there is no reply to the thread Of 'Akath Katha', that Akath Katha is also linked to naam /sabad as one listens to the dhuni/dhun/anhat naad/naad only after purification of the mind and by overcoming ego by constant simran.The listening to naad ,probably, can be called as the listening to the Akath Katha and uttering the Naam would be equivalent to the speaking of the Akath Katha. I am putting it here so that I can refer back to these notes that could be referred to sometime in the future.

Read the gurmukhi section.

So gur kara*o je sācẖ ḏariṛ*āvai. Akath kathāvai sabaḏ milāvai.
So make Him your Guru, who implants the Truth within you, who leads you to speak the Unspoken Speech, and who merges you in the Word of the Shabad.

Sabad Guru, surat dhun chela’ (Ang 943)

(The Word is the Guru and my mind in reflective meditation , the disciple.)

A Sidh called Charpat asked the Guru,

"The world is an ocean, and is said to be difficult to cross; how shall man traverse it?
Saith Charpat, O Audhut Nanak, give a true reply."

(Ramkali Mohalla 1, Sidh Gosht‑4,Ang 938)

The Guru replied,

"As the lotus floats in water, but remain unaffected by its waves;
As the swan swims in it and is not drenched by water;
So by meditating on the Word and repeating God's name,
Shalt thou be able to cross safely ocean of the world.

kaur-1 ji,:wah::up:

Thanks, it is for the first time that I have added ji to your name. You did not sound a serious lady in your earlier posts.But thanks again.

There are two things that I have to request.

1. Sourse of the Granth sahib ji.
2. Source of Punjabi Commentary.

I also want to download these.I should post the doubts after checking with the commentary.Sometimes the commentary that I have is not explicit.

Like I pose a second question and the sangat here is quite confused i.e .

Brahmgyan aap Prmeshwar [ Sukhmani sahib.Raag gaudi]

The assumption is all great souls are Brahmgyani
hence
They are Parmeshwar/Nirankaar

Absurdity

If this happens there will be many Parmeshwars in this world but as per sikhi we have one GOD.[sikhi being Monotheistic]
Hence
The above translation is not correct.
Therefore
The translation that appears correct to me would be the Brahmgyani is spiritually so high that he merges with the God and sees everybody like GOd sees as he does not have any ego or attachment and he is equipoise. He has overcome the Maya and illusion.

Having all this He does not attain the creative power of the God or Nirankaar.Thus Brahm gyani is like a God sans Creator's other powers.

Please look into this and advise.

Regards as usual.:)
