    Hi Guys,

    I have 2 systems A & B

System B has some forms I need to copy into system A and need to know if
their is a way of finding the tables, queries, reports etc that are needed
for the forms to make it easier for me to copy them across?

Any other suggestions would also be welcome

    TIA
    Les

I'm not aware of a tool that does exactly what you want, but I've got an Access 97
tool I call Copy Wiz that compares two databases to see what's missing between the
two and allows you to copy the objects.

If you have only a handful of forms, then it may be more efficient to simply peek in
the RecordSource property. If you have hundreds of objects, then you might write
code to interrogate the form and queries to determine dependent objects. FMS has
a nice tool that does this, but it won't copy the objects, which is something you could
do from a roll-your-own routine. The code for copying objects in my app will help you
see how to programmatically copy the objects.
